Windows Install MacOS Install Running Adobe Creative Cloud Software Potential Install Problems Getting Help
IMPORTANT! The versions of Adobe Creative Cloud software products available from the Microsoft Store are limited-feature, "online-only" versions, which are not supported for use in your courses. This means that computers running Windows in "S mode " are not capable of installing the Adobe Creative Cloud software needed for your courses. If your computer is running Windows in "S mode," you have the following options:
⇒ Use a different computer; one that is running Windows in its standard mode, or... ⇒ On the same computer, switch out of "S mode" for FREE using the instructions provided by Microsoft: Switching out of S mode in Windows
One of the options above is required before you will be able to install the proper versions of the Adobe Create Cloud software used for your courses on a Windows computer.
1 – Log in to Bruin Connect at https://bruinconnect.bellevue.edu/
2 – Click on the Adobe Creative Cloud tile.
IMPORTANT! If this tile is not listed on your Bruin Connect Dashboard, you have not yet been granted access. If you do not have access by the first day of class, please check the BRUIN Student Portal or contact your Student Coach to make sure you have been enrolled in the course. If you do not get enrolled until after the course has already begun, you should receive access by the following business day. If all criteria have been met and you still do not have access, please contact Bruin Support Services for assistance.
3 – You will be prompted to log into your Adobe account, which will be created for you after enrolling in the course, no more than 3 days before the first day of class. To log in, enter your full STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS , then click CONTINUE .
NOTE: Because you have already logged into Bruin Connect during Step 1, you should not be prompted to enter your password. However, you may be required to log in a second time in a later step.
4 – Within your Adobe account, click on the menu icon in the upper-right corner, then select CREATIVE CLOUD .
5 – The applications available to you will be listed. Select the DOWNLOAD button for CREATIVE CLOUD .

6b – Locate the installer package on your computer. It can normally be found in your DOWNLOADS folder (Example: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Downloads\ ).
6c – Once you have located the installer package, RIGHT-CLICK on the file and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR . If prompted, enter your Windows Administrator user login information to continue.
7 – As the Creative Cloud software installs (see status box ), you will be presented with an optional two-question survey. Select the appropriate answer, then click CONTINUE , then DONE . You may also select the option to SKIP QUESTION .

In this situation, do not close the application window . Instead, wait for the computer to display the following dialogue box, then click REPAIR.
At this point, the Creative Cloud installer should re-launch on its own and run the repair process.
