Athletic Director Ed Lehotak

Led by Athletic Director Ed Lehotak, the department consists of over 20 full-time head and assistant coaches, numerous part-time coaches, three full-time athletic trainers, two full-time sports information staffers, and two administrative office staffers.

Bellevue University has a proud tradition of excellence and support for Bruin Athletics. Our sports teams have enjoyed tremendous success both on and off the field. Bellevue University sponsors 14 varsity sports which consistently compete for conference titles and are routinely ranked among the best in the nation in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Men's and Women's sports and 1 Coed sports team are listed below. Athletic scholarships are offered in each of these sports.

Currently, nearly 200 student-athletes compete at Bellevue University. Our rosters include athletes who represent every region of the U.S. as well as numerous foreign countries.

Conference Champs and Tournament Results

Six Bellevue University teams won conference championships in their 2020-21 seasons and qualified for their respective NAIA National Tournament, highlighted by the men’s soccer team reaching the quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
